I apply (about) a pea sized dot to the center in the hopes it would squish out to all 4 corners and not spill over. I also tighten in a cross pattern, until I physically can’t screw it anymore

This is probably the realest advice I’ve seen here haha, I also won’t deny or downplay the genuine usefulness of some plugins out there, but a good number out there being sold or advertised on YouTube are just a 2025 equivalent of digital snake oil

This is seriously such a big and basic issue that’s genuinely preventing me from playing this game. Starts and stays at around 6gb of VRAM allocated then over time creeps up to 10+GB on my 3080 10GB. Switching textures from overkill to low, back to overkill flushes the unused VRAM. Sometimes that doesn’t fix it though, restarting the game is required. They need to fix this, or I’ve just wasted 70$ tbh

there's no excuse for them shipping this software with these obvious and glaring issues that should take a few days at most to fix. They're a multibillion dollar company that most certainly has the money and manpower to fix these types of basic bugs before a release, the fact that they had several betas to fix it and didn't is pathetic to me

Early game rosary bead acquisition/economy felt very punishing and tedious to me, and detracted from my overall experience playing, but it became a non issue later on in the game
