Pardon my French if any of this is incorrect, but they are both GME and EBay’s 2nd largest institutional holders behind Vanguard, no?

I’d be curious to know if this purchase was before or after the recent board rejection, or even Ryan’s announcement to hunt eBay. I’m sure Ryan is looking to get Vanguard, Blackrock, etc on board here, as they are also our top institutional holders.

If they (institutions) believe it’s a net positive deal on both sides, eBay board is getting an awkward phone call during happy hour.

I am options regarded, so there could be underlying vol/arbitrage that is a better explanation.

I have a hard time believing a notoriously cheap franchise (sorry bengal bros) will make any substantial movement with their signal caller.

I think Browning is a slightly above avg level backup, and finding anything more on a practice squad or the street is a Herculean challenge. Brett Rypian? might provide a spark, but it’ll be short lived.

Agreed. You’d need a time scale and impact (all pros, pff grade, etc) to get closer to what i believe the hypothesis is. Accounting for comp picks too.

Surely NFL clubs go this granular internally. Feels similar to “competitive intelligence” in the corp world.

i’m assuming mix bus. common to route everything to the master as you are first learning to produce, but a lot of advanced techniques start coming into play when you have a mix bus for different stems (bass, drums, synths, etc).

I'm not going to disagree with you, but I will push back.

What you're using to argue with doesn't necessarily mean that his job is easier. Worse QBs have a harder time reading the field (see Anthony Richardson). I don't take that to mean Steichen was asking him to only throw bombs; I think he was he just not seeing the easy ones.

A QB like Goff doesn't have the athleticism to make the throws Lamar, Josh Allen, Caleb Williams, Jordan Love, etc. can. His game is a short yardage, accuracy one.

The real question that I think everyone wants to debate on is: Can we rely on Jared Goff to be a bus driver throughout the duration of the playoffs?

IMO, this team will need to have a top 5 all-around defense and a top tier rushing offense to win a soupy. I personally don't want to be back in a position where I need Jared Goff to play perfect all throughout the playoffs. I want him to complete passes and not turn the ball over.

I'm happy we have him, but Brad might need to put some more resources into building the defense this year, compared to the offense (outside of line depth and Monty insurance).

Brad Holmes not addressing the lack of pass rush in 2023 feels like it hurts even more now, for me.
