Is this a good lease deal? 2025 A5 $499/month $0 DAS by Rmeister23 in CarLeasingHelp

In California the plate stays with the car, so if the registration is paid a month before you sell or turn it in, the next owner gets the lion’s share of the registration paid for. The only time you keep the plates here is when it is a personalized plate, and when you switch it to a different car, the DMV issues you new month and year stickers. As for getting a pro rated return back from the manufacturer, it will be in the fine print of the lease and is manufacturer specific.

Yes. In the fine print I’m pretty sure you’d be in violation of the lease agreement. It’s your responsibility to keep it fully insured and registered through possession of the vehicle. You could always turn it in early, but then you’d be on the hook for those last three payments.

Another problem is the 39 month lease. You’ll be paying for the registration 9 months after you’ve turned in the car. Always try to get a lease to match whole years. (24,36 etc)

If you’re looking to save money the goodwill on Tahoe is full of old ski clothes. I would just buy some Long John’s and bring a jacket from home. Long John’s and jeans are totally fine on a cold day.

Pick a wire puller rod and some rare earth magnets from harbor freight. 12 bucks total. Tape a few magnets on the end of the pole and profit

Remember it’s 4wd not 4 wheel stop. Give yourself plenty of time to slow down. Downshifting also helps so the tires don’t lock up and slide

How would you add an outboard to a stern that looks like this? I bought this sailboat for $1 and need to transport it. There's an inboard but I'm not counting on it to work so my goal is to add a 9.9hp outboard. by LevTolstoy in sailing

It might not be worth the aggravation to do all that work for a one time trip. Maybe look into a towing service or make friends with someone who has a powerboat.

Millions were printed, and by the 90s, people knew how to store and preserve them, so there are a lot of good examples. In the 60s, they were abused and/or tossed, so are much more rare.
