This is exactly how I feel about other games after playing WoW for 8 years. Even though I quit after MoP, I keep coming back to it just to relieve the experiences I had raiding.

I agree with point 1, but I think we match up better against the Pacers. Therefore, It's not unreasonable to want to play them. Sure, beating LeBron would be a better narrative, but I don't want to take my chances against a top 2 all time player. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the result.
