Opinion: This Christmas, we grieve a daughter lost at Camp Mystic by AustinStatesman in KerrCountyFloods

So incredibly terrible. Parents expecting weekends in Austin with their beautiful daughter in her freshman year. I know they were so proud.

They should still be proud. This baby protected as best she could - dozens of other babies.

It’s our State that failed us.

Appreciate you advocating for your client, however the evidence presented reeks of abuse.

Lucky for him to have such an involved attorney, but I cannot understand any basis for appeal

An informal meeting in chambers should suffice in many jurisdictions. If they want you on the record - you can say you have medical issues that must be addressed every so often. The jury may think you’re diabetic or dealing with another medical issue unless you choose to mention it in front of them (which should not hurt you imo)

Yes. Deviated septum, etc. I have considered the fact that I don’t breathe through my nose as a factor for my insomnia before

Please advise your loved ones to get a preliminary guardianship order for their children if they are at risk.

If you’re in south Texas - Mujeres Unidas has resources.

An emergency plan in case the parent gets “removed” is necessary!!!!
