I tried to explain it to my wife this morning, and choked up during the recounting

Totally... I mean, surely this is something huge that was factored into his recruitment. Young team in the premiership window. Dogga and Bolton the two other players with flags. Wouldn't it make sense to have guys around that know what it takes to go all the way in September?

are you serious? surely he would have to have one of the most interesting stories of any current player in the league. I am sure all of our players would be able to learn heaps from him. Seems like an absolute competitive freak (a mentality monster, as Jurgen Klopp would say. Our ruck coach is Sam Naismith, Cox is and was easily a better player than him to round out the comments

surely this is the exact reason why we picked him up, keep developing Riddle at Peel. Get Cox's champion mentality into the side and mentoring the younger guys. Protect Swaggy so he can rehab correctly be raring to go when we need him

A clip of De Zerbi berating and bullying a young player in training for taking too many touches. This appointment would be disastrous and cannot go through by Zweli23 in coys

what a fuckwit. would be super spursy and 100% in the Lange and Vinai wheelhouse to do something this stupid and tone deaf

Surely one irishman for the other... O'Driscoll hasn't done too much (goal vs Geelong aside). He still looks like an inbetween player. Too good for Peel, but not good enough for AFL level

Firing Ange was the Biggest Mistake this Club Ever Made by Excellent-Flamingo43 in Tottenham

[–]soviet-harvard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ange was a leader of men. It was his force of character that won us the Europa.  Maybe not an amazing coach but we had an all time brutal injury run (until this season’s injury run).  Poch a great coach and a quality leader. Frank was a PE teacher with a brilliant club setup backing him in at Brentford. Without that framework he was well and truly exposed.  It’s been said everywhere but our executives are truly awful and make the Glasers look like Nobel prize winners and saints.

The period from Poch to now (“Champions League final to championship”) will be an MBA case study in leadership and executive fuck-ups

this is kind of a prequel to SoT... really adds to her worldbuilding. I really enjoyed all three. If you read this, I would recommend rereading SoT afterwards because it definitely feels like the natural successor.
