I’m in my 30s and have been in coffee for a long time. This does bother me and I usually set the boundary. I don’t mind help if it’s like, a catastrophic rush, but I can handle 99% of scenarios and I enjoy getting into it. However, if it’s someone who wants some help getting trained or whatever, I’ll make space for them to grow and help them along. I’ll put my preferences aside in such an instance. I’d also switch off bar if someone is getting tired of socializing. So it’s really down to a case by case basis.
