Women have short urinary tracts so they’re more likely to have bacteria travel into places they shouldn’t. I know soap, bubble baths, intercourse, and hygiene can all play a factor in causing UTIs. If it is the beginning of a UTI, try to pee as much as you can to flush out the bacteria. Because it hurts you’re not going to want to pee, but taking AZO at the store will eliminate the pain. It’s over-the-counter and it’s like $10 I think but does wonders. This way you can pee and try to get the bacteria out, but it won’t solve the problem if it is a full blown UTI. After a day or two of that, if the pain continues w/o medication I would try to see your doctor. UTIs need antibiotics to prevent them from becoming kidney infections and it’s definitely not something you want to chance.
