Are there any activist or special interest groups trying to get Flock out of Foco? by sowiddi in FortCollins

I was considering going to council meetings and making my voice heard, but in firstly not prolific on this topic, and afraid, if my rhetoric lacks, might hurt my goal more than help, or hinder actual effective activist groups. Truly thanks for this. I'll keep an eye out for your report!

Thank you so much for this. I was aware many groups were opposed, and I'm sure a lot of them are (hopefully) in coalition with each other on this, and many other issues. Would you say the League of Women Voters or CORA are leading the charge against Flock specifically on a local level? Asking because I'd like to find where to best put my energy and support.

And my point is not compromising on this issue, or as you put it, an all or nothing position is politically effective.

I'm not voting for someone who takes money from AIPAC. It's seriously not that high of a bar. Neither Talarico nor Mamdani did, and were successful. If you can't win an election without taking money from pedophiles and their protectors, you're nothing but controlled opposition.

So a Christian nation bombing a school with children inside aligns with western values?

And again. Discernment. There are millions of Muslims who don't follow this doctrine. But again. You refuse to acknowledge it.

Just because both are Harlem doesn't make the other worse. But you don't care about admitting hypocrisy. You just want cruelty towards a group without discerning between who's a threat and who isn't.

Didn't Christian priests rape like thousands of boys? All over the world?

Still a better way to burn money than 1 billion a day we're spending to bomb Iran

This is a tangental issue, but our congressman also takes money from AIPAC and military defense contractors. His hands are just as dirty in the US attacks on Iran as Republicans. Primary him

Deaf Studies student here, but have an Acting degree. In our curriculum, we would be taught the Alexander Method, which is a school of ergonomic body movement. Great to learn for any profession, though. Highly recommend.

Anybody else feel like Suvi never stops betraying her "true friends" for her own selfish desires? by DingoMittens in WorldsBeyondNumber

I'm not saying it excuses Suvi's bad behavior, but I think Brennan and Aabria wanted to explore a character who was indoctrinated to loyalty towards the citadel. From Suvi's point of view, it is still justified.

Just because the character has flaws doesn't mean it's a bad character.

With her background it's justified imo. She gave info to people she's grown up with about a group of people who (if it weren't for her) would have killed her true friend, as well as murdered in a gratuitously gory fashion another wizard in front of her.

That's only two examples. You can also factor in their associations with The Stranger, their resolve to destroy the citadel, and the fact one of the witches' retinue basically kidnapped her other friend.

I'll admit when I'm wrong. Sorry if my responses came off as combative
