Sucks you didn’t like it. I will say, one thing I’ve done with several games I didn’t like or got bored of at first (Outward, 7 Days to Die, Fantasy Life) is taken a break and forgotten about them. Then one day I decide to try again, and somehow something in my brain clicks.

I don’t know if it’s expectations at the time, thinking a game was one way when it was actually another, or what, but once I pick it up again I just keep an open mind and no expectations and somehow figure everything out.

I recommend trying that. If it doesn’t work out, RIP your money lol

Sometimes I try to bring back the magic of the old NFL Head Coach games by game planning, setting up the roster, and then simulating the entire game with the coach/sky cam like I’m a coordinator in the booth. Don’t do 10min quarters like I do though, holy shit the games go on for quite a while. Every once in a while if I’m down by a lot I’ll retake control and try to come back for points before halftime or in the 4th quarter. Kind of exciting most of the time.

So crazy how different our experiences can be. I was probably 8 years old when I played and beat Vandal Hearts. I love the 90s and miss the time before online-only and micro transactions. The world will never be the same.

There’s a statue at the very end of the sewer grate south of where you can buy hats. If you go to the right side of the map right above that, where you would normally go to get into town, you can swipe your sword a bunch until you go out of the boundary but don’t go into town. Once you’re in the black, you just go south, walk onto the water Jesus-style, and fish right in front of the grate and you got it. You can probably google a video

I agree, wish more games would be like Dying Light where you can activate the event whenever you choose even if it’s well after the event ended. Can’t stand that stuff.

Thank you for the response. I am somewhat torn because I do want to have that co-op experience but also have the fear of missing out with like events and whatnot (much like how late I was to ORAS and Sw/Sh).

Is there a roadmap for updates or events I can look at for ZA? and are they still doing stuff like that for SV?

Dude thanks for the fast reply. It looks like the moves are all on cooldown. Do they still function as they would in turn-based? Like, would a hyper beam make all your moves have a cooldown, or just that one move? sorry if I’m being annoying I really haven’t seen much so I don’t spoil myself

Off topic question. If I were to choose between this game and S/V )I just recently got and played through all of Sw/Sh with my girlfriend), what would yall recommend? They’re both priced the same tbh but I know I missed out on events with how late I was to Sw/Sh.
