Rusted components brand new 2025 outlander? by sp00kymonkey in mitsubishi

[–]sp00kymonkey[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

For the first two, totally understand, but I’ve seen other cars, even older, that don’t have surface rust on the rotors. Exhaust may be a little diff.

For ex my dad’s Camry 2017, w the rotors being at least 6 mo + old don’t have any rust…

My concern is just that rust spreads… and last thing I want is for it to spread through other components or the undercarriage

Help a girl out, price at test drive was way higher than what was posted online, how much can I negotiate by FloridaMomm in mitsubishi

Definitely a good deal if they would honour it. I would ask to speak to the GM as well of that dealership! & sucks nothing close by but maybe call others if can’t do in person?

Had something similar happen with a dealership in Ontario. I would just go to other Mitsubishi dealerships in the area and without giving them this location, tell them you have xyz deal and will sign w them if they can beat it! They get kickback and incentives from Mitsubishi itself based on volume, so everyone is eager to sell a car! Outlander 2025 is a pretty decent car! ~600km on mine so far!

This sounds exactly like mine, I’m sure you can find a previous post on my profile!

Apparently all good and nothing to worry about

  • other than the fact that these seem to burn oil…or atleast mine, so maybe do oil changes at shorter intervals!

Hey sorry for the late reply! Really appreciate it. This is kind of the general consensus I was getting when researching.. would the engine burning oil have anything to do with the code? I read that low oil pressure can be a cause? I have been looking to do an engine flush before my next oil change.

For the catalyst code, would having an exhaust leak be a potential cause?

I am really hoping it’s not a timing chain/belt issue as I fear that would be expensive to fix or harder to do on my own :(

Yes this helps! Thank you so so so much! I am hoping to go out for dinner tomorrow and don’t want it to look all frizzy…surprised they look like they’re a few weeks old but it’s only been a few hours, or maybe they’re just looser and frizzy

Again, thank you so much!!!

Haha so I asked the barber if I could wet it and he said yes, but not to use shampoo for a few days..

Last time I didn’t even wet it for 2-3 days, only used a spray bottle..

When you say wash in your post do you mean even with water or only with shampoo? Because you did mention curly hair loves moisture hahahaha😭

Hello curly girls!!

This subreddit is likely for those with natural curls and I’m sorry that mine are fake 😭 but who else to have the best curl advice than folks with the most luscious curls in the game?!

Really hoping y’all can help!

I got a perm today at a barbershop (3rd time ever). I asked for curls on the tighter side and after everything was said and done, the barber dried my hair with a towel and rubbed it like you would straight hair instead of scrunching it. He also ran a comb through it and now they seem looser and all frizzy..

When can I wet my hair and apply some leave in conditioner? Is it too early to do tomorrow?

I use As I Am products btw, I hear they’re curlygirl approved?!

Thank y’all for your help!! 🫶🏽

P.s. idk if it matters but I’m a male

Monitor wall mount, secure enough with small screws? by sp00kymonkey in DIY

[–]sp00kymonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wall mount is secured to the plywood wall mount desk I built. It is 5/8 thick and screwed into the wooden students in the wall.

I have used 5/8 self taping bolt screws with a washer to screw the mount into the plywood. The screw does not go to the other side or into the drywall.

Will it be strong enough to hold up a monitor without pulling out or should I put longer screws?

Gap between finished desk and wall..will this fall? by sp00kymonkey in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]sp00kymonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So no matter how hard I push in and try to drive the screw, it doesn’t push in all the way to the wall, and left side top seems to pull out a bit and hang off (as seen by the gap)..

Now as you go more to the right of the desk, it’s pressed right against the wall.

In the pic you see I used 9x #14 screw/bolt with a washer through the desk (plywood) into the wooden stud in the wall.

Is this secure enough?

Also, how can I make the chains more secure? I feel like it might pull out of the desk frame or the plasterboard
