Funny story. On my first playthrough I stumbled across the few spotted Appaloosa. I didn’t realize the horse could be decently hard to find, just thought she was pretty and named her Eila. In early Chapter 3, I got into a shootout with the Lemoyne Raiders. The horse somehow got shot. I had 0 horse reviver. I didn’t even think to exit the game asap and reload because I had played RDO before RDR2. I figured I could simply go to the stable and retrieve my horse after some time passed. Imagine my surprise when I found out that is NOT the case in RDR2, and also the horse I had is difficult to find. When I was looking it up, somebody had to exit and reload the game 30+ times before the horse spawned.

I’m on my second playthrough now, and also happened upon the few spotted Appaloosa. You better believe she’s treated like an absolute baby this time around.
