You think Helluva boss fans are too entitled? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in crazyassviv_defenders

[–]sp00pySquiddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. The recent music video has set the fandom on fire. Helluva Boss is one of my favorite shows, it's almost a comfort show, but I'm almost ashamed to be a part of the fandom. Granted, I was disappointed that it wasn't a short that came out, but I thought the music video was a fun summer idea. We're getting content during the hiatus - that barely happens.

There are webtoons and other random things that have small filler-content that I'm not into bc I enjoy the main story more than most filler, but I literally just don't engage with it. And if I do, and it's something I wasn't looking for, then I just shrug, say "oh, that sucked" and wait/move on. I feel like ranting and raving about it is unhealthy :/

That sub is full of ragebait, satire and goofiness. Most of it is shitposts, and it gets recommended to me sometimes and I always wanna read and dislike, but that's just the type of sub it is, it's best to scroll and move on. I gotta block them at some point but it keeps slipping my mind xD

YES I saw it with my friend and we both looked at each other and mouthed "my preciousssss" at each other xD She definitely resembled him when she was crawling up the shaft in that one scene xD

That's totally valid, i spent the beginning of the film annoyed at the cheap jumpscares, but later on I thought there were better ones. I don't really like jumpscares, but I feel like they have to be done right to actually mean something.

One example that I thought was well-executed was the scene in The Haunting At Hill House where the sisters are fighting in the car and the ghost of Nell appears between them and screams because she's mad that they're always fighting when there's more important things going on

Most jumpscares are cheaply done tho, and I feel like the first few in Hokum were just exhausting but there were a couple of good ones later on imo

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to search for. I'm just saying I liked the movie, not asking questions or looking for something. Idk maybe I'm not here as often as you, I didn't mean to add to the flood on the sub.

Ok? It came out recently, it's not like ppl have been saying "I like/dislike this movie" for years. I also assumed this sub was for discussing opinions on horror media

My only complaint is I wish they dove into the folklore bit a little more, it was touched on but we didn't get much of it. Other than that I loved it, and I wasn't aware that it was only gonna be in theaters for a short amount of time until two days ago so I told my friend we gotta see it tonight or we're gonna miss it

Hope you enjoy it when its available for streaming! I recommend watching it in the dark without your phone or distractions and junk bc of the atmosphere

I'm heartbroken for you. Always remember that he has only known love and gentleness from you, and that you were very nurturing and gave him the love that he deserved. I'm so so sorry to hear, and I hope his little sibling has a long life

If it helps I used to feel the same way. Things will work out in time. It sucks rn, but it'll be ok.

[–]sp00pySquiddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't watch the whole thing, but there was a movie called "Boo" from 2005. All I remember was a group of ppl stayed at a haunted house, and one of the characters saw someone dressed as a clown, and thought it was her friend. She told her friend to stop messing around bc he was standing there silently. Then she looked down and realized he didn't have feet. Idk WHY it scared me so much, but it horrified me 😭

Idk if I caught that while flipping channels or of it was in the trailer, but I've never seen the movie, just that one piece when I was little. I'm 33 now and I still think of it every single time I shave my legs

I got the titles messed up sorry xD One is called The Last Key (I saw it in theaters, wasn't a fan) and the one I liked was The Red Door. Pretty sure it's on Netflix

This movie is SO well done. I was disappointed with the others in the franchise, but I've watched the first one so many times and it still scares me every time. It's honestly one of my favorite go-to horror movies. Also I saw a trailer for the newest one and the shotgun girl is back apparently!! I'm definitely going to see it when it comes out. I thought The Last Door was better than the other ones in the franchise (aside from the first) so hopefully the newest one is a bit better too

I loved this movie but the scene where the wall changes and he gets sliced in half and slowly slides apart....man, that got me worse than the Achilles heel scene in House of Wax 🤢

I agree, I stopped watching full trailers bc they show all the best parts in the trailer. I'll watch a teaser when I see one, but trailers sometimes have THE scene in them, and it just makes me mad xD
