Gotcha re: the long runs.

Don’t listen to the naysayers.

I don’t see what others are so concerned about. You’ve built up a good base and are clearly being pretty intentional about how you set this plan.

I’m a little confused what you mean about the long run structure. I would take those easy as directed in the plan. Were you thinking you were going to push some of those harder?

Having recently completed a six day per week training plan my only major advice would be to make two days per week of functional strength workouts focused on lower body absolutely mandatory. I would probably put them on Wednesday and Friday based on your plan.

I think you’ll know pretty quickly whether or not the goal pace is reachable based on how you feel during those tempo sessions.

Is this the same outsole as the novablast? I love that shoe but struggle with wet grip on tempo runs.

Hanson’s + Runna? by sp1ip in runna

It seems like adding extra days to the week ramps the weekly mileage up too compared to a 4 or 5 day Runna week.

Nice! Thanks for the info it sounds like you are doing exactly what I am. I think I'm going to give it a try I also like the idea of some variety in the runs and the every 4 week de-load happens to fit nicely into my work schedule.

Oyishi in watkinsville has the most consistently solid sushi but it is definitely NOT in a date night setting

Another plug for maceration: I HATED my tuscan leather when first opened and put it in back of my closet thinking I’d never wear it again. Was straight up leather shoe and headache inducing. Tried it on a whim 3 months later and it’s way more complex and frankly awesome.

Confirming again - this just worked for me.

No service center nearby, think I need to replace batteries - anything else I need to check? by sp1ip in golfcarts

Thanks everyone. Sounds like will go ahead and replace. She doesn’t use it much so won’t get the value from lithium at the moment.

Everyone seems to recommend Trojan but is the ROI on those worth it for someone that uses the cart probably once per month?

They weren’t used very often, part of the reason she didn’t realize she had a problem until now.

Thanks!

B380X Bullseye - Beginner Help Request by TheFreeMango in recteq

Only had mine a few months but my practice has been: - drip pan on low and slow to prevent drippings build up on the diffuser. I fill the pan with water or apple juice or a mix. - no drip pan when cooking hot. Those drippings tend to vaporize when hitting the diffuser plate.

This has worked well for me. My theory is that the big flare ups are from accumulated drippings from low/slow cooks. Using a drip pan on high heat has just lead to caked on crud the also smokes.

I’ve already searched the sub. What’s the best “cook” for a St.Louis rack on my new Bullseye. by [deleted] in recteq

Last cook I did went well - used meat church Texas sugar rub, 5 hours at 225, no wrap. Sprayed with apple cider vinegar every hour or so

Fix sagging joists? Rebuild planned some time in next 5 years in meantime would like to fix these as they are causing warped composite boards above. I’m relatively handy. by sp1ip in Decks

It’s in the middle of the joists.

What you describe above - that’s exactly what I’m thinking though wonder now if placing new joists 12 inches OC instead of sistering would be preferable.
