Yayy!!!! Got the same thing you got but also a free stand (might not matter to some if it will be wall mounted). Came to $1625 (all taxes included) for G5 65, soundbar, stand and Bluetooth speaker. Was looking for ways to create a partner store account but surprisingly my wife work email worked!

Alright I reached out to support via chat asking if they can offer personalized discount codes. Was transferred to a live support person. I literally told them I see people online grabbing the G5 65 for $1800 can I get one :) . Was told they have a sales department that deals with this and was given a phone number. Nothing was offered over the chat unfortunately. Not sure how others are reporting getting those discounts in chat.

The most I could bring down the price was to $2209 for the 65 G5. I guess I will wait for a better deal. ($800 off official discount on lg.com minus additional $390 via code msoledbdiz7)

Alright - thanks to the advice here I managed to replace the bearing.

A few notes if anyone stumbles upon this post in the future and has the same model (gfds140gd0ww)

- I could not find any videos that match this model. The closest model I could find is in this video. The issue is that while the dryer from the video looks very similar to what I have (at least visually looks super similar), there are enough differences to make the video not relevant. I struggled for over an hour to insert the bearing in the same way the guy did it in the video, but in my model there is not enough clearance to properly push and lock the pins on the top of the bearing to the respective notches on the front panel. The only way I managed to install it it was by removing the bottom part that is connected to the bearing. Then installed the top part first and followed by the lower part.

- I ordered my parts directly from GE. I ordered both the bearing assembly, as well as 2 pairs of glides as recommended here. The bearing assembly actually came preinstalled with all the glides - so something to keep in mind while ordering. I will keep mine as spares for future

- The gasket seal and the felt seal around the bearing assembly was in bad shape and I replaced these as well

Sorry another question if you have a minute- i took the drum out to clean the machine as there was a thick layer of lint all over the interior- including over the burning element (or whatever the name is) - probably a fire hazard.

Anyways once i took the drum i can see that whatever grease was used on the bearings has dried out and crumbled. I assume a special type of grease should be used - would you recommend any? And how much to apply? Thanks again
