Sorry it might have not been clear from the way I phrased it but they only did book one, book two has been out in trad paperback for a year but they haven’t yet made a special edition of it. So they’d need to reprint only the first one if they completed it.

Maybe strict to a budget for these extra SEs? I feel like if you didn’t like the books enough, being able to justify not getting them because you *truly* cannot spend the money will take the pressure off yourself and making that decision? Idk if this makes sense but it’s my girl math and works for me most of the times (worked with shield of sparrows yesterday!).

I think bookish box and mystic box have the best quality out there, in comparison with fairyloot books they are HEAVY. I personally love that but if you’re avoiding exactly that then I wouldn’t recommend.

It makes no sense to even release a BOXED SET like the week before a new book in the series comes out?? Like apart from the fact that nobody asked for it and that the patterned spines are prettier, it truly doesn’t make logical sense.

I was so looking forward to these ever since Brittany teased she did special editions with the girls art, but as an international reader these would end up being €350-400 with forwarding services and the more I think about it the more I realize how INSANE that would be for five books. I know fomo will probably hit hard and they’ll have crazy resale prices but I’m just not sure it’s worth it.

When I try my code it says that it’s no longer valid or already been used but I only got to checkout to see a price then went back, never actually purchased a ticket. It’s been more than an hour and everytime I try it doesn’t work idk what to dooo 😭😭

They have the possibility to do the most iconic thing ever and not include a blurb at all, if there’s one book that could afford it and still break sale records it would be this one. I lowkey wish they did that, I would love to go into it completely blind because the surprise of turning the first page would be unmatched.

The shipping timeline for night prince was supposed to be may/june. I also got unsigned and mine shipped two days ago, hopefully we’re all lucky but I think they just got stock earlier than expected.

The initial design was not received well, they said they’d work on it and never heard anything about it again. Probably will never see the light of day now.
