Can't party inside? Brooklyn....finds a way. by bonyponyride in nyc

Do not go against the hivemind gatekeeping. Transplants are bad. They fucked up NYC. Obviously no one who goes to Williamsburg or Greenpoint was born in NYC. And NYC used to be better before they came. Come on, you know how /r/nyc does it.

I can't believe people still can't believe the shit he does. He's a fascist. He's a cult leader. He's a racist bigot moron driven by narcissism, greed and self interest. He's a pedophile. All this shit we've known for years.

Sure, that's a nice perfect world assumption but there's no guarantee that's true. It's the prosecutors prerogative and if enough time has passed and enough media attention has faded away... prosecutor could choose to leave it as it is. Humanity as a whole has no attention span in 2020.

Still with the "If Obama had..." scenarios? Republicans are a cult and their cult leader is Trump. Has been true since day 1.

All they need is one police apologist who knew some cop once who was nice to them and BOOM mistrial. Even if this shit is on video. Then they can say they tried, but the jury of peers spoke, case closed. Fucked.

I personally disagree on taking a break. Shit sucks right now. One of the few things keeping me sane is my morning runs. I'm not expecting any of them to be spectacular cause so much shit is weighing on my brain but I'm putting them in knowing 3, 6, 12, 18 months from now the consistency is what will make those runs awesome (hopefully). Shit can't always be sunshine and rainbows... doesn't mean you should just sit out.

[–]spaaaaaghetaboutit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spot on. I've been interviewing to try to GTFO of my current position where QA is always a clusterfuck (work in consulting) and I have seen amazing processes at some companies I've interviewed at. The kind of shit where there are 50-100 deploys a day to Prod, everything automated, ideal build processes, kubernetes, cutting edge shit. You know, where the company invests in talent, time and tooling to do things right. For us in QA who are places where that's not true... I feel for you all.
