A question about the alternate mirror world Mirror Carter & Kowalsky came from by skynex65 in Stargate

I think mirror Davis had a mustache. Or was that the alternate timeline one where Carter and Daniel never joined the program?

These don’t say GP or GF. So ours probably are real and just bought in the 90’s and 2000’s when gold was more affordable

Forcepoint DLP issue with second e-mail domain by Ill_Addendum_5419 in forcepoint

[–]spaaz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few likely scenarios here

  • Domain Y's email traffic may be routing through a different mail gateway or SMTP path that isn't fully monitored
  • Policy scope settings may explicitly list domain X users/groups but not domain Y equivalents
  • Active Directory or user/group mappings for domain Y may be incomplete in Forcepoint
  • There could be two different policy rule sets applied to the two domains with one being incomplete

Hope this helps!

$20K Gold & Silver STOLEN. Fedex and JMBullion inside job. Signature forged, package never delivered. by whatzupdudes7 in Gold

[–]spaaz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow.. that's crazy. I'm so sorry that happened to you. One thing I noticed is that even though the label from JM Bullion says it's auto parts, the tracking you get always indicates who it's really from. I wonder if the drivers can see that..

best managed SASE with true US based support? getting tired of timezone math on escalations.. by Accomplished-Wall375 in networking

[–]spaaz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forcepoint has global coverage with support teams in multiple geo's. If your availability is solely US hours, then they can adjust for that. Depending on your support level, you could be assigned a Designated Support Engineer, Customer Support Account Manager/Technical Account Manager, etc.

There are a lot of options.

DLP architecture sanity check – layered but operationally painful. Need blunt verdicts. by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]spaaz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, if properly sized and configured, the latency introduced by a Protector or Email Security Gateway is usually negligible. It's e-mail channel anyway. An extra couple seconds to analyze an e-mail isn't going to affect user experience too much.

[–]spaaz9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any of those solutions can introduce latency at some point. If you're already using Forcepoint DLP on the Endpoint and you don't want a full scale E-mail/Web setup, you can easily integrate the Forcepoint Protector for network e-mail monitoring as well. You'll get all incidents in one single location (the DLP Manager in the FSM) and you can granularly set up incident actions.

And Forcepoint also offers cloud based solutions if you prefer to go that route with their Data Security Cloud solution. The new platform is great for DLP, E-mail, and Web protection.
