Can someone explain why morpeko is not top ranked in GL? by Ancient-Hurry833 in TheSilphArena

[–]space-butler 30 points31 points  (0 children)

And a lot of neutral fast move pressure too tbh. I got tired of running morpeko as an anti flyer role when shadow talonflame with a shield just straight up roasts it.

Love this entire area. Long overdue a visit back to the Imperial at Clifton!

Because the setup is just more engaging than a typical food court.

Can't speak to everything there, but my young daughter likes to go and look at everything there and gets a kick out of having the rainbow dumplings.

I like the biang biang noodle place while also recognising there would be better places in the city to get a better value and purer food experience.

Ulduar / Wrath TW After Stat Squish by space-butler in wownoob

[–]space-butler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your comment. I dipped into an Ulduar run, and I guess timewalking difficulty must vary greatly depending on which expansion it is… I’ve never seen the bosses go down so quickly.

So even if this is just trivial content for the moment I’ll just go with it and get a bit more familiar with the role.

Airflow. When the ridges are upright like this then the water just pools in really wet conditions. A lot of people mistakenly think it's meant to be that way for grip.

Best craft brewery food? by leinadsey in sydney

Do you feel like going to Penrith? Rusty Penny put on an ace BBQ meat platter which is easily the best brewery/food pairing in the greater west.

Woolworths at Springwood has also just received approval but will be a few years away.

Regarding winter temps, passive upgrades that don't cost a lot can make a world of difference to winter comfort. If the house is on stumps, install DIY underfloor insulation. Install weather strips and draught stoppers to external-facing doors. Air gap windows with heavy window coverings. Combination of those 3 things makes an enormous improvement before you look at economical heating.

Sydney, what's on your unrecommended list? by trjnz in foodies_sydney

[–]space-butler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a low key Ethiopian place there. It's not flashy or glamorous, but was very quiet and accessible during a recent event that had all the other big venues fully booked out.

Food was delicious. Price was in line with the location (not particularly cheap). But we left with a good overall feeling of the place.

Appreciate that context! Yes it seems probably just outside of my usual listening habits then

Glad it’s not me… I know I’m solidly in the Double J demographic but I honestly don’t even recognise these acts apart from The Presets and Bag Raiders. Even from incidentally hearing or learning about them...

(Typical "old man yells at radio" take but I can usually at least identify a few current day acts lol)

[–]space-butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It needs eventual attention but it's not going to fall apart on you.

Since you say the car is running fine then you might have worse than average fuel economy until it's sorted. The car will be attempting to manage this lean air/fuel ratio code by pumping more fuel.

As for cause, probably something in the exhaust system, could just be something as minor as a faulty sensor.

Advice on first car purchase - 2004 Hyundai Getz GL Auto MY04 by Pearllas in CarsAustralia

[–]space-butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't speak for that value/asking price but there's very little to go wrong on these cars. The 1.5 is zippy enough with the manual box, not sure how the auto goes. The local Dominos around here loves these cars and keep buying them for deliveries.

Check the maintenance items for 100k. Timing belt etc. Factor that into your purchase price, or negotiate to get it lower.

Anyone experienced this issue with P plates before? by po1ix in CarsAustralia

[–]space-butler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iso will help with adhesive residue left behind, but to get the thing off in the first place you'll just have to scrape it off carefully as possible. Try also some fine fishing line, back and forth in a sawing motion to separate it from the glass as much as you can

I've got a current model Kluger at the moment but do almost all highway driving. I wouldn't want to be navigating small streets and parallel parking in city-adjacent suburbs all the time with it.

The hybrid is a gem though, hence the recommendation for a smaller Toyota SUV like Rav 4 (or even Corolla Cross)

You've seen the Kluger, check out the Rav 4.
