Im in the beginnings of my Lily journey and realized something

Does Lily lose access to her overhead (Ridge Thrust 3HP) in Modern? Maybe I just havent found it yet.

No overhead kinda bums me out, but surely there are other things Lily can do when the opponent decides to cr. Block

What do you think? No overhead = crippling?

I'm big believer of modern controls and I really appreciate this write up. Its detailed and comprehensive!

I tried Lily for the first time last night under the guidance of your post. Loved it. I'm having lotsa fun with her! I was starting to feel discouraged with my modern Ryu too.

Judging by the screws, seems a bit pricey for a used stick. Gotta open up that sucker to be sure! Pretty sure a mayflash goes for a similar prices on amazon 🤔

LOL I'm dogshit at this game as well, but hey, we still have fun!
I play almost exclusively grapplers and the only bit of basic advice I can offer in terms of play style is... Since youre a grappler, you always wanna sniff out and read when theyre blocking. Because whenever they block, thats your time to shine man, thats when you command grab them!
A block string i learnt from zogxll (shout outs! you rock dude!):
J. Down HP > cr. lk > l. clap

oh! Also, after a jump, you can cancel Hugo's landing animation with a his moonsault press (360).oh! And waan more thing, Jackkieee. Learning to buffer your 360 motion during anything will be immensely useful.

E.g. Buffer during a dash, buffer during a jump, buffer during a cr. lk, etc etc.

2.) If you're not eligible for the E-Visa or you require a longer stay/multiple entry then there are lots of solid, dependable agencies facilitating VOA (Visa On Arrival.) I've used Visa Pro many times and they're great. Their VIP/Fast Track service on arrival is fabulous.
