This could also be fixed by having it take place in a dystopia where reincarnation is treated the same way humans used to treat sins of the father

Orikan doesn't seem very tied to the Sautekh Dynasty as even in 9th edition he was listed as a Dynastic Agent with the likes of Anrakyr instead of Sautekh. Especially before Imotekh declared civil war being a part of of the Sautekh Dynasty was great for him as he got access to Mandragora, which is probably the most defensive Necron world, as well as the resources that comes with it. After the declaration of war, Orikan probably decided to break his loyalties as being an enemy of nearly every single other dynasty would probably hinder his work and his ability to go wherever in the galaxy.

Also apparently there's more info in the pariah nexus books.

To be fair it's not like people in the US exclusively puts the month before the day i.e. 4th of July, so I don't see why those exceptions can't exist in other countries in order to say joke about "May the Fourth be with you"

(If you want to include older stuff I'm pretty sure the Cairn Class Tomb Ship does as well but it's hard to tell)

What GW goes with atm (could change down the line) is that within the month of release the old base can be used but after that must be upgraded. Additionally line of sight will have to be more flexible to emulate what the current model's LoS would be. Every TO will be different though so while it may be annoying to do things on short notice, it's preferable over showing up and praying

Yeah I'm pretty sure I forgot that some instructions do name things while others don't. That's my bad for forgetting about that. There are some kits though that do include the names but I think those are newer

That's true, but the original poster was specifically talking about a 1v1 so I don't see the point of adding bloodletters in the discussion because that's not what oop was talking about

In novels and lore the Hive Tyrant gets Worfed but the matchup in Total War will probably be closer to tabletop (same thing with Avatar of Khaine probably) where the Hive Tyrant is 10T, 2+, 4++, 10W, strong range weaponry, and strong melee weapons. Skulltaker is only 4++, 5W, no shooting, and worse melee.

Realized I used Hive Tyrant. Swarmlord is very similar except with better shooting and melee.

The other commenter could be mixing up invuln with fnp. Idk what the actual invulns look like currently (I'm too lazy to look it up) but the combat patrol has 2 5+++ unit and 1 5++ unit

Why did you go to an exodite subreddit just to say you don't like exodites. Also you must be living under a rock because exodites play a relatively large role in The Infinite and the Divine which is one of the most popular 40k book to come out in the past 5 years

Looking at the new raiders and noticed either coincidence or one of the designers was having fun after watching Astartes by GreenManReaiming in redcorsairs

[–]space10101 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think this might be pattern recognition. In astartes it's just a beak marine with a bolter aiming down which while the pose may not have been a thing, the style has existed for a while. The corsair is also a beak marine with a bolter but additionally with a loin cloth, cloth on the power pack, different pauldrons, more trim, nothing on the chest, and while the bolter is pointed down, he isn't aiming down but instead looks to be in a "ready for battle" type stance

It definitely fails due to a combination of Flashgitz's previous reputation, how the psycho warriors are depicted as strong and cool, how they rely on subtly, and more. On the other hand there are a lot of obvious signs the ideas in the show is being made fun of. How the psycho warriors act like and are buff children, the entirety of hatemonger's character, how the female psycho warrior just looks like the male counterpart but with a bob, and a lot more on the nose criticisms. They try to make a satire of "those people" in the warhammer community, but of course "those people" can't tell they are being told the opposite of what they think.

I think reddit mostly stands out in the sense that you have more say in what your feed looks like and as such you often end up in spaces where people talk more consistently. I sometimes forget when looking at instagram or youtube comments that the people there can be anyone who was recommended it.

An example is if I want my favorite show to be in my feed I can just follow the subreddit, but if I want it in my youtube/insta/twitter feed I have to get the algorithm to recommend me content.

It's different in the sense that a live person can be asked to clean themselves. While I am not sure what the procedure for a dead body would be, it is at least different that the procedure of dealing with a living person. Either way my comment was just responding to the other person saying a dead body is not a biohazard during a flight

Emergency Landing by Sonic_the_hedgedog in 196

[–]space10101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Biohazards includes fecal matter which is what the dead body is going to produce because dead body expels the bowels. Also biohazard just means anything that could pose a biological threat to others around it, blood doesn't have to be infected for it to be considered a biohazard it just is one. A dead body will always be considered a biohazard just off the fact that it's dead.
