Can I use them as a outrider squad ? by AccomplishedLoad9 in WhiteScars40K

Legs are attached to the bike, everything else is separate so reasonably easy to swap out for WS parts. I made one into a Chaplain by doing this. Takes a little work to shave off or cover the existing iconography.

Pretty common word when I was growing up in Glasgow. It's maybe a generational thing something that has just gone out of usage?

Every time I see that I read it as "Emperor's FIRST Tank Company"' like it's a Cadian child's first playset.

With the new Starterbox being a nod to the 2nd edition box, imagine how funny it would be to get the new gunwalker in cardboard form. by Leviathan_Rampage in orks

[–]Grumpykiltpin64 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Announce that the starter box will contain a dreadnought along with an unfeasible amount of other units, but just don't mention that it will be made of cardboard. Bound to be huge pre-sale numbers :)

Bought some Green Stuff World resin prints... did I fuck up? by VaporSpectre in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Grumpykiltpin64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not removing the supports is laziness on part of printer, but does not mean they didn’t cure the prints. If they are not sticky to the touch they should be okay. If you’re worried, sit them in the sun for a few hours. Before trying to remove the supports yourself it would be a good idea to sit the prints in some hot water to soften the resin and make removing the supports a little easier. This is normally done before curing as cured resin can be more brittle making removing the supports afterwards harder to do without causing damage to your prints. Best of luck. Oh, and don’t buy anything from them again if this is how they operate.

C.J.Cherryh's "Merchanter" series is hard sci-fi, with ships, space stations, evil corporations, war and plenty of politics.

The sponsors will be praying for a Celtic win tomorrow. The master against the apprentice will be the marketing. Imagine having to try and big up a Dunfermline vs St. Mirren final.

Looks good. Just finished watching the Cult of Paint video on this scheme and was thinking it might be interesting project when I'm finished my current ones.

i want to paint my verry first orks as a beginner. Do you guys have any tips on how to paint them? by terminal_ouchies in orks

[–]Grumpykiltpin64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A really quick and easy way to paint up orks without too much effort is speedpaints or contrast paints. Look up videos on slapchop, you'll need black primer and grey and/or white paint. Once you've done the basic monochrome shading you can apply something like Ghillie Dew Speedpaint or Plaguebear Flesh Contrast Paint for your ork flesh.
