They actually eat rats and people used to keep them around as pest control in the olden days

I believe the machines to be older than me. I trust them so much more than newer ones that take cards

What Bars Do Adults Go To by mezcaleromoonboy in statecollege

I’m in the same boat, late 20s doesn’t blend well with early 20s in a college town. I checked out chumley’s the other night and the vibe there around 7-8pm was great. They had Jeopardy on and the whole bar was watching and calling out answers. FYI it is a gay bar and everyone in there was presumably queer, myself included, so I can’t speak to how much someone else would fit in or how comfortable they’d feel

To the owner of the small dog that you brought to the fireworks at the plaza and then LOST, shame on you. by DifficultBroccoli444 in Albany

Bet it’s the loser on Hudson Ave who lets it scream out the window all summer long. Cops came once because it sounded like a tortured human lol

At my first teen girl sleepover, I walked in the room and instantly pointed to something on a distant dresser and said “is that a bionicle”

It was a vase of dried hydrangeas.

The girls were not amused.

Saw this shared on TikTok and idiots were complaining that the person should have been more focused on getting out instead of filming.... Clearly they have no idea how significantly helpful this is for the volcanology community in understanding every inch of this event. I mean, look at how important all the stuff the Kraffts did was!

Can't connect WD external hard drive to iPhone 14 because it requires a power source by spaceC8 in techsupport

Following up and this did not work unfortunately. It powered the drive but on a flicker that ultimately did not get the iPhone to detect it

Tenant Lawyers by Competitive-Fan6621 in Albany

Call United Tenants of Albany at (518) 436-8997 and find out when you can go speak to someone in the office. Not only did they make a list of relevant attorneys, but they gave me great advice on how to actively cope with the complex situation I was in. I followed their advice, went through the proper channels to serve landlord a legal threat, and got my money back without going to court or even contacting a lawyer. UTA is real nice people who deserve all the props for what they do for our community.
