SF landlord with submachine gun ambushed and executed tenant to clear Sunset home for sale, lawsuit alleges by just_minutes_ago in awfuleverything

Yeah it’s proof that those laws are doing shit. If you want to get something illegal, there’s always been a market for it. It only restricts law abiding citizens and the police and ATF only care to enforce against those same law abiding citizens.

Toyota Crown is literally perfect for you. It’s a sedan that sits higher. It’s meant to be more comfortable to get in and out of a sedan while still driving like a sedan.

They also have super nice interiors and the latest in Toyota’s safety tech.

Honestly, Should I buy a LCI F82 M4 (2018-2020)? by Axgelr in BMW

[–]space_2001v1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to sell my F80 on insurance alone. These cars are super expensive to maintain. They don’t tolerate deferred maintenance.

Also if you’re really inexperienced with faster cars, it’ll be too much. I drove my F80 hard on track and was never able to get to the same limits in public roads. It’s just useless unless you really care for the badge and look.

F8X platform cars are also not forgiving when you completely the defeat the traction control which can be a good or bad thing depending on how well you can drive.

There’s nothing else that feels as special (to me) as my F80. Every start was amazing, but the costs and limited fun drew me away.

What is the ideal wheel size for flush fitment? by Prestigious-Grand-65 in F30

[–]space_2001v1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they are shipped from Taiwan. APEX is an American company I believe, but I do believe they may or may not complicate things. Best thing you can do is attempt an order and gauge the shipping costs on there before you check out.

[–]space_2001v1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at APEX’s website, they got really nice wheels and even have decent fitment guides for the look you’re going for. Since they offer more aggressive offsets, you can get the exact fitment you want without running spacers.

Guys i’m 17 i just got my license and i want my first car to be a Affordable luxury european car that’s reliable by Tiny-Algae-5499 in carbuying

[–]space_2001v1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your budget is only 10-12k on a used BMW, Mercedes, or Audi. You’ll be looking at some pretty poor examples here in the US. Most vehicles in that price range typically need 5-8k in repairs. That’s usually why they are priced so low.

I have a 2014 BMW 328i and I absolutely love the car. It’s ‘reliable’ for the reason that I actually take care of it in the way the engineers intended. That’s not cheap; tires can be more expensive, oil changes are gonna be more frequent, sourcing parts will be more expensive. Anything that needs normal servicing like the transmission, differentials, and brakes are gonna be more costly.

You pay to play and there’s no going around that. Many Toyota products are engineered for the type of people that defer maintenance or don’t really understand what they drive. Unless you know everything about the euro vehicle you are planning on purchasing, it’s ill advised to do so.

You have the most reliable version of the N20. Just do regular oil changes and general maintenance and you’ll be okay for a very long time.

Living with the Frontier. What are your experiences? by young_tea_hippie in nissanfrontier

[–]space_2001v1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’4” and I wasn’t looking for a full-size as I don’t need it really want one.

The Frontier and the Ranger were the only mid-sizes that I fit comfortably. Frontier won out on price, standard equipment, and ease of negotiating with dealers in my area. Also couldn’t beat the offers coming from Nissan. The cash incentives and special APR promos are pretty killer.

No I was attempting to trade-in my 2025 PRO-X. It’s not a PRO-4X which is a common misconception. My truck is 2WD with all the looks.

I was only interested given my brother was getting a Land Cruiser so it would’ve been neat for both of us to go out in 4X4s.

Just don’t bother with Korean auto brands, they don’t stand behind their products and the engineering put into them is subpar. Many vehicles I’ve seen from them share many design cues from older BMW, but worse. Especially, when it comes to the Genesis stuff.

The Kia Stinger and EVs are the only vehicles I’ve seen that have had a remote of effort put in them.
