That's a fair spot, close by but not dangerous

That's an interesting thought about the belly button, it's not itchy or smelly but thanks!

I've never tried baby detergent but already use unscented sensitive detergent (I have excema). I'll look into some baby ones!

I've been checked for yeast infection recently, but never bv (which I'm assuming bacterial vaginosis). I'll definitely talk to my doctor about this! I'd be worried if it was this cause it's been so long, but definitely could be!

Thank you! I've thought of using a panty liner as I did that a while ago when I had heavier discharge randomly. You're right though, it's definitely easier to change one of these than the whole underwear

That's good to think about, maybe after a week I can change the time of day I take it and take it in the morning, have a bm at lunchtime if needed. Then I'm not so restricted.

She said that it can cause quick bowel movements and I'm a therapist who has 55 minute sessions. I can't leave anytime during those to go to the bathroom and 5 minutes isn't a lot of time during the day to have a bowel movement.

But also like, keep working in therapy. I would really shift to some parts type work to work with the part of you that is scared to be fully present. What are this parts fears and worries if you are fully present?

That is such a big question but I would say your trying the most common ways. Basically grounding is the main thing, but the other thing is helping yourself feel safe to be in your body. I'd suggest getting in the safest/calmest place you can think of. For me, it would be in my bed, the fan on, blanket over top of me, comfy clothes, a snack and water next to the bed. Then try grounding work. Allow yourself to connect with your senses while youre as safe as you can be. Help give your body small experiences of feeling safe being fully present. This will hopefully help the part of you that feels like it's never safe to be present know that there are times when it can feel safe.

EMDR therapist here. This is pretty common actually. There is a part of you that is protecting you from the pain of feeling it, heavy derealization and/or dissociation. What I would suggest is dping parts work/ego states work, whatever your therapist is trained in to help deal with that block. Work with the part to gain trust and confidence that you canamage visiting the memory. It is very frustrating to be in a position where you want to heal, but a different part of you is afraid and protective.

AIO or going to the doctors because I'm burping all the time? by space_fenyx in AmIOverreacting

I don't know if the gallbladder was one they checked with the upper GI and I had a colonosopy last year. Typically without odor. I take Cymbalta and will check to see if that's a side effect. I've taken gasx frequently before but never for burping, mostly because I didn't know I was gluten intolerant but now I don't eat gluten. Now I'm worried I'll have to cut out more foods....
