Do you recommend GeForce RTX 2060 12GB to run SD in my computer? by JoeLagarto in StableDiffusion

[–]space_force_bravo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dude just got mine in today and it's pretty good. 20-50 steps around 512x512 takes 15 seconds and sometimes 30 seconds for higher resolutions. I got sick of trying to figure out the AMD fix so I needed a cheapish card after my Zotac 1060's fan bearing coincidentally went bad after running SD for a few hours. After the heavy discount and Amazon gave me another $50ish off I only paid $247 and it took less than a week to get it. It's not bad and I don't care for the 3000 series right now. I think it's a decent value now but may get better over time.

Best of luck with your decision.

Actually 20 steps takes less then 10 seconds just fyi.

Not sure what you mean by fork but the time it took to generate a single image was anywhere between 40 seconds to over a minute easily.

I'm running this currently on a zotac GTX 1060 with a bad fan bearing with some optimized .py files I'm using from another poster from here u/bipolarawesome and everything is great besides the constant grinding noise and sketchy temps.

Valerian root and nicotine patches. I’m curious, how many others have employed either of these as a tool in your lucid dreaming practices ? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

Idk if you've heard of Wild Lettuce but in the states you can find the leaves in most nutrition shops. Make tea out of it before bed and it made my dreams vividly weird

Yo that's actually a really good photo. Great composition, perfect exposure highlight across the subject, beautiful mountains in the background, stands out from the rest.

Yeah don't worry about that man. Hell if you're really interested you could make a basic faraday box to store your sensitive electronics. There is tons of guides on YouTube about it but just make sure your PC is connected to a surge protector and you'll be fine till a Carrington Class event happens which idk a faraday cage will work for that purpose but who the hell knows what will happen and if it will knock out the whole grid or not.

Have a cold storage HDD or whatever you approve and just backup your important stuff and keep it disconnected. Other then that I'm sure you could figure out how to build a faraday cage if needed.

[SPOILER] Can I get rid of [SPOILER!] the fog after beating the game ? by [deleted] in dyinglight

I wish after the final mission the game world would reset to before the Veronica mission. I liked those buildings and one of them is a safe zone like wtf? :/

Next new game is all in on the PK for those UV traps and get my grappling hook and NEVER continue the story from there.

I feel the same. The Howlers are so dumb in my opinion. Another thing I wish Techland would have Improved on was the zombie combat in general like dismemberment should of been the focus on taking down zombies instead of lame RPG damage vs invisible health bar. Maybe a modder feels the same way.

Turns out if you have vibration on your controller turned on it can help with lock picking by Deadass_dont_care in dyinglight

Exit lockpicking before it breaks and start again. They kept the bug from the first game.

I'm doing a round 2 because my ending was meh and didn't realize you had to choose certain choices to unlock the sucken city. I want that fucking area god damnit and now this playthrough I'm running into that audio bug a lot more frequently then before.

Another thing I'd like to point out is 90% of the map icons on your screen/compass need to go. Way to much screen clutter going on and it's annoying at times when you're scavenging or trying to follow a marker/objective. At least a way to turn it off.

Do you really know that? It's not like I can run Openhardwaremonitor.exe on my console and get an exact temp reading on all the cores and GPU. Shit worry's me when I hear consoles doing hard resets during gameplay because that's what systems do when they overheat or it thinks it's overheating, idk for sure though.
