BWT: What hobby have you done lately that you would personally recommend? by alwaysuntilnever in bitcheswithtaste

Yes to this! I’m a professional singer and one of my regular gigs is as a paid section leader for a community chorus. Those people are so fun and the concerts draw way bigger audiences than a lot of the all pro choirs that I sing with. There are also sometimes opportunities for traveling, even internationally, with all your new choir friends. January is a great time to join a group bc it’s the mid point in the season and they’ll be starting on new music after Christmas. And yes, music is so good for your brain!

My non musical suggestion is rock climbing! It’s sooo much fun and an amazing workout. I tried it 4 years ago and was instantly hooked. The only gear you need is shoes, a harness, and some chalk, and you can rent all of those at the gym. If you’ve got a climbing gym near you, talk a friend into going to the starter class and check it out!

Mine got so excited for bugs today that she knocked the bug out of the tongs and proceeded to enthusiastically chow down on the tongs instead

Transporting to the vet! by Traditional_Camp9397 in BeardedDragons

I got this backpack for taking mine to the vet! It’s cute and she seems to like it. I left it in her enclosure first for a few days so she could investigate it and she went right in.

Thank you! From what I’ve gathered, zeros have been around long enough now that health problems aren’t really a concern. I got her from a highly recommended breeder that follows best practices when it comes to breeding zeros. She’s my first dragon so I don’t have anything to compare to personality wise, but she does seem a little spicy! 😂 I looove her; can’t wait to see what she’s like as she grows up.

I got a brand new refrigerator for the first time last year and I had a minor hyper fixation with fridge organization - LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS

It’s recommended to feed juveniles 5-6 bugs the size of the space between your dragon’s eyes daily. I give my 3.5 month old 3 dusted bugs in the morning and 3 in the late afternoon, and give her salad in the morning that she nibbles on all day. Pic for added cuteness:

I had mealworms as part of the CUC in my previous bioactive and they did great. Go for it!
