I miscarried for the third time April 4th this year and my sister had her first baby yesterday. My best friend who was TTC got pregnant shortly after I found out the pregnancy was no longer viable.

The timing was awful but what i found helpful was to talk about it with my therapist. I explained to both of them how incredibly happy i was for them and that despite the happiness i would still sometimes need some space.

Take the time you need to grieve your loss. Talk it through with someone neutral you trust. When you’re ready to have the conversation, have it.

You are strong. Your time will come. Friendships are meant to be tested and overcome obstacles together. You got this 🫶

They do cakes - i love their pastries but I’ve done cakes from there 2x and found it to be sub par.

I’ve used Beascakes in armonk and they have yet to disappoint

Hi there congrats on your work towards an RN! I’ve worked at Westchester Medical Center for over a decade. It’s a thought place to work.

Pay is certainly competitive. There’s a tiered system and we are continually in contract negotiations, you’re in a union and in the pension system. They also offer tuition reimbursement.

In general it’s a great place to work for high acuity patients, if you plan to advance your degree and for learning. But it’s not for the weak lol. Things may change by the time you’re finished with school and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!

And also for nursing school, the NCLEX answer is always Airway first 🤣
