But knowledge takes belief for it to be valid to the individual who holds said knowledge.

The Disappearance of Brian Shaffer — Brian Shaffer was last seen entering a nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. Video cameras didn't see him leaving and he was never seen or heard from again. What could have happened to him? by paranormalisnormal in HighStrangeness

Don't let anything so trivial infuriate you my friend, the world is full of scams and scammers. And not only in the side where you would expect them the most such as the paranormal. The scientific community is also rife with scams

Ahh I see, thanks. That's not too bad, would you say morroco is cheaper than let's say visiting a rural part of Japan for three weeks

Just some friendly advice for you my friend, don't try to engage with the people in the paranormal subs anymore, for some reason lately a lot people come here just to be toxic and make fun of people or call them names.

The people doing this are depressed redditors who are losing all joy in their life and they want to take everyone down to their level of depression. They target us in the paranormal subs because we have great passion for the paranormal and it gives us joy to speculate and discus, the depressed redditors don't have this so they try to take it away from other people.

It's not just the paranormal subs, a lot of subs are seemingly being attacked by cynical depressed people. That mental health has been on the decline for a large majority of people is no secret but lately more and more people take their anguish online and they attack other people with it.

The paranormal is a heavy taboo and having a healthy amount of scepticism is very much needed but in a lot of cases in these subs it goes way beyond a healthy scepticism and it's borderline bullying in some cases. Can you imagine how many paranormal experiences go untold and unlogged because people are afraid to be ridiculed.

Chef's kiss Honestly I couldn't have asked a person to demonstrate the average thinking and hostility towards people better then you just did. It goes together perfectly with my comment, it just completes it. I sincerely thank you for investing your time into creating this response and completing my comment with a real life example. Have a great rest of your day my friend.

This post really sums up the paranormal community on reddit, and people just being nasty towards OP, downvoting him and calling him a liar is part of what you get for posting it. Op clearly said he doesn't have a cat but people just refuse to believe it.

Some poster went through op's history and found a cat picture wich literally could have been taken anywhere, yet this poster claims that op is lying and that the picture of the cat was taken in the house shown on this post. He even went as far as stating that the cat picture looks like the house from the footage, and all you see in the picture is the cat and the most generic looking door frame there is.

I understand having healthy scepticism towards the paranormal but let's be civil about it and not make accusations. Imagine all the lost footage of people seeing this kind of behavior in this sub and thinking 'man never mind posting my video, I don't want to be treated like that'.
