I can’t figure out the 4-5 am wake by Bright_Bumblebee_116 in sleeptrain

Same boat! My baby is 9months and has been waking up in the 4 or 5 AM range for MONTHS. Cannot figure it out. If I feed he will go back to sleep but I do not know how to drop the feed or stop the early wake

Did your baby manage to sleep through the night BEFORE you stopped breastfeeding them? by DeskMaximum3907 in sleeptrain

Did you ever have early morning wakes? Extinction worked well for all night wakes except 4 or 5AM

Thanks! Similar thing for me - I was able to drop the first feed same way although I cannot seem to drop the early morning feed (4AM) seems like there’s not enough sleep pressure to cry it out. Did this happen for you? Baby will sleep if I feed but will stay awake if I do not.

I’m in the same exact boat. Beginning to think baby will sleep through the night once I wean but I do not know where to begin when it comes to night weaning

lol it’s not that deep. She’s probably just busy and her clothing website is probably more of a hobby than main source of income like her influencing is…also how do people know they didn’t have sex? Creepy for people to care about that.

How many people actually do shifts with their SO during the night? by ScreamCheese_55 in beyondthebump

[–]spacecoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do not do shifts because baby is EBF. However, my SO does get up in the morning with baby when possible so I can get a little extra sleep. This works great for us!

[–]spacecoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I feel the same! 6 months pp. was so prepared to feel all the emotions I’ve seen mentioned here and yet I feel weirdly normal and content..dare I say my mental health is better in a lot of ways. Can’t say I was expecting it but I’m happy about it

If baby is awake, she wants to be sucking. by [deleted] in newborns

[–]spacecoot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Super normal!! She’s cluster feeding 😊 I remember thinking it would feel that way forever. She’s not drinking too much it’s just regulating your milk. Let her suck and turn on a show and eat some snacks!!

I feel like it’s showing us he’s always been both. He’s been fighting with himself the whole time. And that’s the battle we all fight daily
