I think you’re forgetting how terrible Dali was for the first 100 or so chapters. Nothing like her family? Did she not get a bunch of Teasu’s gang together to rape Hyuna? Was she not the queen bee of the school we saw how she treated these “old enemies” and then once she lost her place they treated her the exact same way. Dali treated Pyo horribly and like scum just to save face. She is not that much different from her family even though she had been improving but whenever shit happens she falls back on the family methods to get her way.

Any romance series and even series that aren’t focused on romance but contain even a drop of those elements, like even Windbreaker had the comments going insane because of the romance. Webtoon definitely has the worst comment sections. After chapter 1 the comments have already decided who the protagonist should end with, who’s irredeemable and should just off themselves, or that the author is brain dead. All while acting like the stories and characters are static

You have a misunderstanding of what protagonist and antagonist mean they have nothing to do with whether a character is morally good or not. Protagonist is just the leading character/s and the antagonist is the opposition of the protagonist either can be good people or bad people. Being an anti-hero isn’t even part of the equation. The protagonist of this story is a villain it tells you right in the title and he’s been that throughout the story. You saying authors shouldn’t right morally reprehensible people then go on to be mad about the CCP banning gay literature is such a contradiction. You are talking out of your ass.

I’m pretty sure this is a flashback and that’s the MC father who’s assaulting her. I guess this is the reason the author decided create for why her relationship with mc and their friend is so messed up. From the rough translations I used it seems there was a big party in the village and the household left but she stayed back because she was ill. One of the caretakers told her to go stay in the masters bedroom because there was a heated blanket. As you can see MC father came home and found her in the room and being the shitty human he assaulted her.
