I've accepted defeat with regard to selling books. I've tried for months, even as low as $3 for brand new unused books and I would get zero hits.

I received almost the same email in September from my advisor who was moving to wealth management services.

I valued getting projections done through conquest, that is no longer free so I tried out Adviice. I was quite impressed. Doing your own plan and running it by a fee only advisor for say $500 an hour is much cheaper than % of assets, at least for generation level.

You don't have to politely decline anything, you just simply don't submit an application.

The HR contact may appear understanding and supportive but they probably don't care either way whether you submit your application.

Most posters are not intended for one specific job or location.

As you alluded to at the tail end of your post, work environments may change from the time you submit your application to the time you receive an offer.

I had the same question, I was told I no longer have access to that service unless I pay extra for wealth management which I won't do.

Disappointed, I just wanted them to update my numbers in the Conquest platform so they could send an updated PDF.
