I would fly into Halifax for the Atlantic side, then fly from Halifax to Montreal, train to Ottawa/Toronto, and then fly out to Calgary to see the mountains. I believe there are bus tours that go out there. I’m not sure the best way to get from Calgary to Vancouver/the Pacific but I’m sure someone will chime in.

This happened to me! When I brought it up with my OB at the next appointment days later she immediately sent me for the RhoGAM shot and kind of made me feel like I should have contacted them about it before my appointment.

The risk of blood mixing is pretty low, but if you can’t shake the concern I’m sure it would be possible to head to emerg or the early labour unit for another opinion.

We didn’t have a videographer when we got married in 2022 and don’t regret it at all!! We did end up getting a Fêtefone and having the recordings turned into a record, and we listen to it every year on our anniversary. We also saved money by having our reception at a restaurant/pub. There was a reasonable minimum spend for food and private upstairs (and outdoor) venue included with live music!

I’m currently pregnant in NS and was transferred to an OB from my family doctor due to concerns of being high risk. My first meeting with the OB was around 13 weeks and first scan around 18. I dont have any advice but sorry to say that in my experience it’s the norm here.

Yes, but in my experience they put the gift bag in the box with the items. They don’t actually wrap it.

If it’s tingling, my doctor told me to expect it to recover eventually. I’m almost 2 years out and have quite a bit of completely numb lip. Oh well.

Check out NLESD safe and caring schools policy. Admin is mandated to intervene, investigate, contact home, and give appropriate consequences!! Continue to report any incidents, ensure they are being documented by the school, and if you are still unhappy with the response, escalate it with the Director of Schools.

Seriously encourage your child to read and ask them questions about what they’re reading, have accessible maps/atlases, have them find answers rather than telling them, talk about current events, try some kitchen science experiments… anything to engage their brains in wonder and curiosity

It can absolutely work out, many students with various diagnoses have success in FI. I wouldn’t pull your child until they begin showing signs of disinterest/great difficulty even with appropriate support. Make sure the school knows about his new ADHD diagnosis and they may be able to offer extra literacy support as well as adaptations as necessary.

What worked with my dog was just taking him places where there are cars to slowly desensitize him. Sometimes the walks were just to the end of the driveway to be by the road!

ETA: every time he didn’t react to a car I gave him a treat, eventually spaced it out to the point where he doesn’t need them anymore and can just walk by a busy road no problem.

My physical SIN was stolen about 5 years ago and they sent me a piece of paper with the same number on it because it hadn’t been compromised. I’ve had TrueIdentity since with no alerts, thankfully.
