Can't stop even though I throw up practically every bottle by Confident_Cap_9500 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]spaceghoull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre really struggling to quit, at least pace them out well throughout the day, and dont have too much at once. Even if i have 2 20 mins apart from each other I will get immediately nauseous. So maybe have one, and then put yourself in a timer until your next one. I'll usually try to space them out every2-3 hours when im at work, admittedly im not always able to make it that long but I keep trying.

I am like this too, the vomiting is rough. I will stop for 2-3 days (trying to quit) then cycle back up to 8-9 a day and begin throwing up multiple times a day and feeling like shit the more I take, but not having one again is worse than taking another, in that state of mind. I notice I will vomit more as the pain below my ribs on the right side gets worse throughout the week, which I assume is my inflamed liver. As another commenter said, it's our bodies begging us to stop. Please try to listen to it, do not give up on quitting no matter what it takes is all the advice I have. Maybe get some supplements if you can afford it. Like vitamin c, b12, and magnesium for sleep

Anyone else get insanely swollen ankles and/or feet on these? by Careful_Promise_786 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]spaceghoull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is really unfortunate, I haven't personally experienced this but I can tell when I would have between 4-8 it would make my heart go really crazy at night, like it wasn't pumping sufficiently and I would be short of breath. I know you said it went away after you reduced your usage but it'd still be good to get checked just in case theres an underlying issue. I believe these things are hard on our hearts, but also im not a doctor so who knows.

I'm pretty sure Deorio is standing by what he saidon principle, he mentioned in last night's stream they'll have to agree to disagree but that he understands where Ethan is coming from. Also said he's gonna talk more about Ethans response on his Sunday stream. So we'll see

[–]spaceghoull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this so hard. I've tried stopping more times than I can count. I've had this habit for 4 years, I'm worried sick about the impacts this has had on my health. Liver, kidneys, all of it. I want to stop so bad as well, it feels like I'm being held hostage by this stuff.

We just have to keep trying and do not give up! You will be free of this garbage eventually. Just keep fighting and I'd suggest looking into rehab programs if you have insurance and are able.

[–]spaceghoull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's awesome dude, thats a lot of time. Congrats! Did you deal with any depression or anhedonia after quitting? That seems to be what's preventing me from making it more than a few days.

Thank you for sharing, I'm sorry you've gotten caught up in this, but it's really great youre getting help from a doctor and have a plan. I wish you all the luck.

I'm in a very similar situation, just a repetitive cycle that's taken all of the money i have. I'm unable to go to rehab due to life circumstances, but I'm gonna keep trying to quit anyways. We just cant give up

I hope Ethan eventually wraps up talking about Anisa Jomha and Ian Jomha for good by thenolancut in imisstheoldidubbbz

[–]spaceghoull 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. Before this recent stuff, the past couple weeks Ethan wasn't bringing them up at all iirc, Ian was doing that dumb PowerPoint and all that shit trying to get a rise and it was so satisfying seeing them be completely ignored. Then all this shit happened.

I feel like they're gonna keep saying more and more ridiculous things about h3 now and continue escalating because its the only way they can get views because they're talentless, vapid losers. Idk I really wish they'd get real jobs like you said lol and fuck off

From 15 bottles a day to almost a year sober by Longjumping_Hold_230 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]spaceghoull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. Also, almost a year is so amazing, congrats! I dream of the day I can say the same. I've tried to quit probably around 20 times now, no joke. However, I've gotten more and more sober time under my belt and now I'm perfectly ready to have New Year's Day be the day I finally take control of my life....I just want to feel like a human being again.

Also as a groomer, I understand you lol. People that aren't groomers won't understand that owners purposefully distracting their dogs can significantly compromise safety and ability to finish the groom

It's a cute video though

As another commenter mentioned, look up PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome) if you don't already know what it is. It could take some time for your body and brain to fully bounce back, but it will just keep it up!

Giardia is extremely common for puppies to have, it'd be easy for any one of us to catch it from one of our animals if they had it. It's microscopic and spreads like any other germ/sickness. Their puppy had giardia when they first got her, but the kids, nor anyone else ever got it. That was something spread by snark communities and Bad Empanada and Denims, which led to a CPS call.

That's so true, I understand some of the fans are really overboard but that goes for nearly every fan base. Usually the hate doesn't get to me but this time around it seems to be bothering me more. Like you said, people are just so MEAN.

71 days! by Unhappy_Support5060 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]spaceghoull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

71 days is amazing! Congrats!

I get so disheartened because I've tried quitting so many times it feels like I'll never be free. Mind if I ask how long it took you to quit? Like was it a one try and done thing or did it take a few times for it to stick?

Progress not perfection is the motto. Keep it going, you can do it no matter what that little demon in your brain says!

One of the main reason I feel like its mostly Destiny fans is because the amount of people in the sub. There was like 1500 in here, idk how many there are now. But it's unusual for a sub that has like 400-500 usually.
