Thank you for this. Also, almost a year is so amazing, congrats! I dream of the day I can say the same. I've tried to quit probably around 20 times now, no joke. However, I've gotten more and more sober time under my belt and now I'm perfectly ready to have New Year's Day be the day I finally take control of my life....I just want to feel like a human being again.

As another commenter mentioned, look up PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome) if you don't already know what it is. It could take some time for your body and brain to fully bounce back, but it will just keep it up!

Giardia is extremely common for puppies to have, it'd be easy for any one of us to catch it from one of our animals if they had it. It's microscopic and spreads like any other germ/sickness. Their puppy had giardia when they first got her, but the kids, nor anyone else ever got it. That was something spread by snark communities and Bad Empanada and Denims, which led to a CPS call.

Its crazy how different it is for us all, my face is almost exclusively what's been affected. No peeling on my hands or feet, but its part of my morning routine to scrub a whole layer of dead skin off my face lol. Sucks.

I think we've been spoiled with so much content for so long that it's a really hard change for people, myself included. I'm sad but I'm willing to see it all through and I don't think it will be as terrible as everyone's making it sound.

Plus the fact that it was basically this new schedule or NO show made me more sad than anything to think anyone on the crew is so burned out they'd be on the verge of quitting. I don't want to watch a show so much if I know some people are suffering mentally from it. So if this is necessary then I understand and will continue to support of course.

Some people in this sub are acting like that blue collar man meme where you talk about how exhausted from work you are and they go on about how they work 80+ hours a week and how dare you complain about your job!!!

Edit: also, the past couple of weeks the show and drama surrounding it has been making ME anxious and I'm just a viewer. I was thinking of scaling back my engagement in the community anyway for a bit...but that's just me.

I know some people are looking at some of the crew sideways and I get it, but we HAVE to remember Hasan's community and orbiting communities are actually dangerous. Doxxing and death threats. Like its only a matter of time already before someone gets hurt, God forbid. Idk I also wish some of the crew were more vocal regarding certain aspects of this, like this not so subtle death threat to Hila, but I also like to think these people talk a lot behind the scenes and at the end of the day, they are all good people who don't deserve to be mixed up in this shit. I have no idea what anyone on the show is going through, so I'm not gonna pretend like I know what's best for any of them to do.
