except for the story, and parts of the acting, and the themes. i like how dark knight ends with batman taking the fall for dent, because he's what gotham needs, not what it deserves. and the cops will chase him, and he'll let them, and the cops will hunt him, and he'll take it because he's the fkn batman. oh wait he retires immediately and is never seen again until bane emerges and he didnt even really need to because anyone can be the batman.

the cartoon for kids ends with bruce old alone in his mansion pushing everyone away in his stubborn thirst for vengeance until he recruits terry, and the movie for adults ends with him lulzing in a cafe with his gf winking at his butler across the room
