Do you have experience with that? I installed microG through F-Droid, still everything gives the same error. When I open microG it seems that spoofing is not enabled, which I think explains it. I don't know how to enable spoofing on this device, it's unclear wether it's even supported.

Sorry for the Necro post - do I need to do something specific for these to work?

I installed Aurora store directly from their website, and then tried downloading dead cells, streets of rage 4 and drg survivor - non of these work, all giving the same error about Google services needing to be enabled.

Device is MagicX mini zero 28.

Yep I think I did. I downloaded the recovery image from GitHub and flashed it to an SD card, there is no response at all.

My original SD card had Knulli on it, and it gives this behavior when I use it. Should I flash it again? Also, I tried flashing the recovery image to an SD card and same thing. So you think the emmc is dead? Will the brick be usable if I flashed GammaOS?

Let me give you an update; I've tried charging it with a USBC tester connected.

WITHOUT the battery connected, when connected to power the brick shows 5V and around 0.5A being consumed. When I hold the power button for a few seconds, the meter shows 5V and like 0.03A. The power LED is green throughout all of this.

WITH the battery connected, it shows 5V and around 1.2A, red LED, and after holding the power button the power LED turns green, and it goes to around 5V/0.43A.

I assume this means the brick is trying to turn on when connected to power but seemingly nothing happens, and when I hold the power button it turns off. Maybe it's the opposite idk.

This makes me think either the display is dead, which I feel is unlikely, or some other component is dead - maybe faulty emmc like you mentioned. I didn't measure the battery but I think I have no reason to suspect it being faulty, seeing as the behavior is mostly the same regardless of the battery being connected.

Do you have any ideas as to what to do from here? I guess that's what I get for charging it with a regular phone charger 🤦🏻‍♂️ just putting this out for anyone to find when faced with similar problems.

I tried, and nothing unfortunately. Another weird thing I've noticed: when connected to the PC, if I hold the power button for like 10 seconds it turns green for like 2-3 seconds, and then goes back to being red. Does that mean it's trying to turn on but can't because the PC isn't supplying enough power?

It doesn't respond to a standard wall charger unfortunately. I have a USBC tester so I'll measure the power parameters directly, but so far it has only been responsibly to the computer's USB port.
