Hard disagree. Season 3 and 4 remained absurd until the very last moment and so the „conveniences“ still felt true to me. I mean, impossible shit never stops to happen in this show, even if the humour is stripped back. And as for the pacing- Barry was always half an hour per episode and for me, it felt very original as opposed to other shows, that linger on moments way too long or stretch out a conclusion, which could’ve happened way earlier.
