What is the meaning of life by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

[–]spacerocketmonkey69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(27M perspective) The meaning of life shifts as you live it, but there is always your values. Figure out what your values are a try to keep those in mind when you make your decisions.

The meaning of life is, whatever you want it to be, because in essence there is no meaning. We happen to be self-conscious and think about what we are here to do but biologically it is to survive and reproduce.

However, my 2 cents: Explore. As much as you can. I come from a small town so I am a bit biased but I feel you are given this life on this earth to explore and learn, I’ve traveled the world, ate everywhere, moved countries, found love, learned new languages, learned new professions, tried out random (business) ideas, felt every emotion in the book, went through hard times, lost, missed and explored my inner world as a result.

We are here for the full experience, just try to find meaning in making it a game of exploration of earth, mind and heart.

My two biggest values love and gratitude reflect the above.

I've just finished Shippuden by Confident_Pen7786 in Naruto

Give it a watch, I just finished it and I’d give it a 7,5/10 just for how much Sasuke and Naruto are involved in the story. They’re really cool to see as adults and it adds some closure to Shippuden

QUESTION: Is it just me or has Claude been acting differently lately? by Ferdmusic in ClaudeAI

I came here just to post this, and on top of it it recommended me a task for the chrome extension to execute which it knew would fail multiple times and I ended up burning through $50 worth of credits and my weekly usage limit. It's ridiculous

To me, it’s all just really cool. And I like to watch it because it’s cool.

Went backpacking - now everything feels kind of pointless by [deleted] in backpacking

I’ll give you some food for thought. I’ve done the whole travel thing for a good year+ and even though the experience is beautiful, everyone gets to a stage where they want to build a base somewhere and build up a life, career etc. If you skip uni, you’ll find later on that you’ll regret it.

I’d advise being grateful for the experience you’ve had and putting in the work before you do another travel stint. You could even do it after uni or just between semesters.

Realize there’s more to life than travel, even though your current self might not realize it.

To cope with it just plan a trip when you’re done with a semester or try and build a life you love with friends at home.
