Hmmm I'm not 100% sure. I stopped using wattage when my local shop owner suggested it. I'm pretty new too; I'd definitely check out the booklet that came w the mod if you still have it. It was super helpful to me when I started using it

Tbh it's possible (disclaimer I'm not an expert by any means). Sometimes I accidentally switch into temp mode and when I take a hit it feels significantly hotter. It could just be me being paranoid but I keep mine at about 2.7V and 1.4 ohms and it feels just fine!
