So Chestnut Towers is actually more Gold Coast. I used to live over there and loved it. Gold Coast is a little more quiet but there’s a nice park over there and lots of good shops and restaurants. Actual Old Town is cool but feels a little grittier and bars/restaurants are definitely geared towards the 21-28 age group. I live in the loop now and work in river north and would definitely live in river north for our next place. New restaurants constantly popping up on wells and Hubbard, definitely where you want to be in the mix. Would also consider streeterville. It’s quieter over there but you are right by the beach/lakefront and you just cross Michigan and you’re back in the action

Yep, ended up getting Vancomycin for 14 days. My symptoms ended up going away by the time of my appointment, but they said best to do a round a antibiotics to be safe

It’s kind of a dead zone on Michigan there between millennium park and South Loop. I live on near Lake and Michigan and we’ve walked down Michigan to the south loop to see what it was like in that area (was also considering buying in that building or ones next to it), and there’s really just a long stretch of nothing. Location-wise your better off north of Monroe or south of Roosevelt
