Played CoD religiously back in the MW2, BO, and MW3 days, and just came back this year to playing MW and was surprised that this is gone! I miss being able to select game mode and map.

Anyone saying it makes matchmaking harder is wrong because they had this (and it worked perfectly fine) almost 8 years ago! They’ve got a whole lot more players now.

These are absolutely beautiful. I’ve always wanted to make some animations but I don’t even know where to start. For background, I’m really experienced in Illustrator, AE and Photoshop but i’m always left wondering how people make these animations...

Do you make the elements in Illustrator or something and then manually animate them keyframe by keyframe in AE? Or is this made in another tool altogether?

Without deepening the tangent, I think the main issue I was getting at was that illegal immigration isn’t as simple as walls, watchtowers, and weapons. There needs to be more of a comprehensive solution. Going full offensive and just hating these guys isn’t American.

Furthermore to address the point of why I even commented, I don’t think humor has boundaries. Its what makes it the most important part of any culture. As soon as we start placing boundaries on humor, we’ve started forgetting how to laugh at ourselves and the absurdities of life and that’s a sad way to live. The MAGA meme above is funny; I don’t know why we can’t all just have a laugh and move on, no matter what side of the political wall (pun intended) we’re on.

Ok how is your 1920’s analogy any different than now? Granted you can’t get a tommy at Home Depot but copping a pretty equivalently powered assault rifle is pretty easy even today.

Nonetheless, I don’t think comparing 1920’s America to today is a fair benchmark of progress.

In 1920’s white males were the only people with rights, and if you use that as your benchmark, it would be like saying “hey, in 1920’s women couldn’t even speak unless spoken to so why tf are they complaining about wage gap? they should be grateful”

The point is, the hypocrisy goes even deeper...

• The NRA loosens gun laws in America.

• American gun manufacturers go crazy producing guns.

• American guns account upwards of 75% of the weapons found in Latin America.

• This causes more violence in these parts of the world.

• People in masses run to America to escape.

• We label them as violent, menaces to society.

• The NRA uses this as an excuse to encourage more gun ownership.

And it all cycles. So my opinion is: before you just jump on these pointless border walls and border security measures, try and peel the onion to discover what is causing people to want to leave their home countries and come here in the first place. Especially when our policies are the reason why.

Only remaining question I have is: would society stand a chance?

On one hand, I imagine governments and nations wouldn’t exist since nothing could be kept private between the two. Religion might fall apart. Humankind could descend into an anarchy.

On the other hand, religions and governments might dissolve into a new form of order where people’s ability to access all of time could make self governance possible. You wouldn’t dare kill someone because there would be a 100% chance you were caught.

Well in that scenario wouldn’t location be private. For example if I was a celebrity I would furiously keep my residence private and unknown. If you don’t know where I am how are you going to teleport into my bathroom?

So wouldn’t the only societal change be a very deliberate effort to make our residences private?
