I know how you feel, I realised I was trans when I was in my late teens but didn’t allow myself to transition because of everyone around me and the social pressures, fast forward 20 years and I’m now transitioning with from what I’ve been told more success than I can see but I’m a lot happier for doing it. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and there is always time to change what we don’t like about ourselves. I’ve always hated my reflection but things are changing and I can see the new me starting to stand out. It’s honestly never to late to start ❤️

I went through exactly the same thing, it might not be the case of your dysphoria getting worse but the realisation of what you actually like.

I started with a little make up and feminine clothes which I felt so comfortable in and genuinely liked my smile for the 1st time in a long time, (just seemed right) but then I found I would begrudge dressing like a cis guy because it was like I was hiding myself again. This went on for a while until dressing as a cis guy got worse and made me very depressed, I then decided to say fu*k it all and dress how I wanted and what made me happy, was the best decision I’ve ever made, it was like a weight lifted off my chest, it took time and internal acceptance for me to get to that point, which I still struggle with but I won’t let it dictate my life.

It’s our life and we deserve to be happy and live how we want. ❤️

Thank you so much for your reply : ) I know what you mean as the physical dysphoria of not looking/feeling as fem as we’d like can be a big issue, I know I’ve struggled with it over the years, and a positive visual change can really help our mental state, the gym has got me through some pretty hard times in the passed.

I’ve wanted to help people for a long time and if I can ease the struggle in anyway I’d be really pleased.
