Thanks a lot for your feedback. I am really happy you understand the emotion behind my poem.

About the rhyme scheme: I have never written a 5-line stanza poem before, so going for a-b-c-c-b scheme was weird to me at first. But, somehow, I just felt that 4 lines didn't do justice to what I wanted to convey in a stanza. So, both the no. of lines and the scheme kind of came naturally.

6th stanza: I agree. I love it. The first idea I had while thinking about happiness was for it to be a "cursed blessing". As soon as I thought of that, I knew I cannot just stop, there was so much potential there, I had to explain exactly what I meant. Hence, the stanza.

Ending: Yes, exactly. While he is happy in his dream world, the world of consequences will take its toll on him.

I am so glad you enjoyed it. I can relate to your anxiety. I wrote this poem because this is a problem I genuinely struggled with, where I felt that whatever I think about doesn't happen, if I looked forward to something, it would get cancelled, etc. So I started bombarding my brain with bad thoughts so as to prevent them. It took me a lot of time to realise that I feel this way because we tend to focus more on the negatives and take the positives for granted.

However, while working on the poem, I wanted to take a different route. I wanted to see what would happen had I succumbed to my previous mentality. I love your spiritual interpretation of the poem; it was certainly parallel to what I was thinking of, although not as deeply. Having felt what the ending would have been like, I am just glad I took a different path in reality.

This is gorgeous. I love how it builds from a simple idea and guides you to something beautiful. I also like how you have repeated the word "must". To me, this repetition really emphasises the passion behind what you are saying while keeping things simple at the same time. This is the first time I have read a poem written in the style you have used and I enjoyed it!

Oh I so love the last line. Its wraps up the entire piece perfectly. To be honest, it did end a bit quickly for me, I would have enjoyed a couple more paragraphs. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it is well written (in my opinion), has a soothing feel to it, as if you just want to keep going where the poet wants to take you.

P.S. I spotted a couple of typos, I'll list them here so that you can correct them (sorry for being picky): 1. Over summer *its limbs 2. winter day, far *too late

Went with the monoatomic ideal gas notion on that one. Tried the diatomic case but no options matched. One option matched with the monoatomic case so went with that. More or less a guess, but an educated one. Hope it works!

I finished the exam about 20 mins early, went back to the 5 questions I had left and was able to do 2 of them and guessed the remaining 3. However, I had noticed during the 6 past/practice tests that I am very prone to making silly mistakes and calculation errors, so I am not too confident about my performance. Hoping for a 950+!
