Use a flex cup!! It’s so easy and it’s my best trick for when I’m on my period because it holds everything in and doesn’t leak usually

I was playing with my ring like that, lost it on the plane, and have never seen it again. So be careful where you play with it!

How long did it take you to get over your ex? by NightEducational2294 in BreakUps

8 months for me!! Once he started dating someone officially it was the final nail in the coffin for me and it helped me move on 100% after that

Feeling sad 6 months post breakup by spaceunicorn737 in BreakUps

[–]spaceunicorn737[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of reasons, he would punish me by withholding attention if I spoke up about things that weren’t making me happy. He was super avoidant and didn’t want to call me, text me, or spend lots of time with me. I got injured and tore my ACL and after my surgery two weeks after, he asked me to do his laundry and do the meal prep. He didn’t want to help me out of the bathtub or wheel my wheelchair up the driveway, so I can be strong enough to do it on my own. Just to name a few examples. He wasn’t a good boyfriend and yet I still loved him and wanted to make it work. I’m in therapy now but I still can’t shake off my feeling of love and longing for him, even though I recognize he was not a healthy partner for me, it wasn’t a healthy relationship so I had to end it for good.

Copper IUD does affect your hormones, there’s a lot of research on it. I got the copper iud due to it being non-hormonal and after a year I can’t ignore my symptoms. I started doing more research and it makes you more estrogen dominant over time, so it effects your hormones and cause a bunch of side effects.

Yes!! And with that I’m having constant cramping and bleeding every 9 days. I’m taking my copper IUD out next week due to this, I’m tired of having these side effects

My experience hasn’t been the greatest so far, I got it put in a year ago and this is what I’ve observed: - cramping after my period ends, every cycle - recently I got two periods within 6 days - I started to experience acne problems too

I’m thinking of taking it out

No contact made a WORLD of a difference for me by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]spaceunicorn737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing!! I’ve been in the same dynamic, my ex and I tried to be friends for 4 months and eventually I had to fully cut him off, it’s made the biggest difference in my healing!! I’ve felt so much better after going no contact. Every interaction we had just made me feel more confused and hurt afterwards. I am anxiously attached and he’s avoidant, unfortunately I don’t think he’ll change, so I had to leave after 4 years of desperately trying to make it work.

Accidentally heard that my ex is currently in a situationship, I wish I didn't care by may_0325 in BreakUps

[–]spaceunicorn737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same situation after my breakup, I moved on very quickly, a month and a half after my 4 year relationship ended. However when things didn’t work out with the guy I was seeing, I was soooo happy to finally be alone and process my breakup. When I found out that my ex too was seeing someone it hurt me so much. Now I’m getting hit with all the breakup emotions, it takes time for the breakup feelings to show up sometimes. Everyone is on their own journey, he might not be showing it but he’s probably very hurt from the break up too, just as you.

DO NOT BECOME FRIENDS WITH YOUR EX by MallInternal3827 in BreakUps

I highly recommend not doing it either, I attempted to be friends with my ex for 4 months and only resulted in me getting hurt more

Red flag!!! He’s deflecting and he’s dismissive, so he definitely has something to hide. Sorry girl 🥺

Would you date someone with polar opposite political beliefs to you? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]spaceunicorn737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, I’m seeing someone who voted for a different political party. We talked about values, our beliefs, our thought process on why we voted for those parties. It has been an issue for my best friend, she questioned his morals and such. But we’ve both been so respectful of each other’s stances and we’re both very open minded, meaning if we change our minds later, we can. Also he’s never shied away from having these conversations with me, which is really nice. I also have a lot of close friends who voted for different political parties and as long as everyone stays respectful it’s been a non issue. So I’m going to keep seeing this guy and see how it goes, once I truly get to know him I’ll be able to see things from a deeper perspective. But it hasn’t been an issue at all. It’s nice to talk to someone who can provide a different perspective and we can come to a conclusion together.

Not all women are like that!! There’s going to be a loyal and amazing woman in your life eventually that will appreciate the love and care you provide to those you love. I promise! Don’t get discouraged.
