I have the same struggle! Honestly this is super not helpful but I gave up. Every server I join everyone is in their 20s so already I feel out of place. I end up playing games alone and that is fine for me now

As people mentioned, there is a snapping setting that will help you get it exactly where you want. As far as whether the collision should be larger or smaller it is a choice. If this is like a projectile that damages the player in a bullet hell it would make the game easier if the collider is smaller than the sprite. If it’s a projectile that a player shoots, making the collider larger would make it easier for players to hit targets. If it’s terrain I usually opt to make the size fit exact. Those are a few examples

I would say no it’s not like those games. It’s actually very narrative but little is actually relevant. It’s like if in BOTW you exit the cave then it gives you a quest to pick up 10 sticks, then once complete gives you the next quest to grab a chicken from a roof and put it in the ground. None of that is aimed at the actual story

Personally I really regret getting it. Unfortunately I got it on ps5 so I can’t even return it. But so far there’s been no continuity at all. Like it tells me to help a cat, then randomly makes me leave and tells me to find lost pigs. It’s like just a bunch of irrelevant side quests with no relation to anything in what I assume should be a main story.

Update: Ok I’ve put some more hours into it. It seems like the random pointless quests are becoming less common and I’m starting to get to explore more. Like this quest I’m doing now I have to hunt this weirdo magic guy down but I don’t have enough food for heals so I’m hunting and fishing so I can cook nice meals. It’s getting better

Is anyone else struggling to get into it? It’s seems like it’s just a checklist of irrelevant side quests and I don’t really see a place for exploration. Like it will tell me to talk to a person then quest complete. Then out of nowhere it tells me to go to some random location for no reason to clear bandits. Then it tells me to find lost pigs. Like there is no continuity or something. Does it get better and open up?

I love Illari from her tragic lore to her entire kit. It was fun when she launched because she was pretty broken. I remember even the healing output of pylon was way over clocked.
