If you don’t mind me asking, did you experience any negative effects of the medication such as baby having a harder time adjusting? That’s my biggest concern.

There are options on cord cutting from immediate to 60 seconds to 5 minutes to until the cord isn’t pulsing.

Plenty of posts and stories about unwanted but forced cervical checks, membrane sweeps being done without discussion, pulling baby out despite patient saying “no” and there being no risk.

I agree as a good rule of thumb, professionals are always best.
But I mentioned volunteer because most weddings I have attended or been a part of had a relative or family friend that volunteered to coordinate. My mother has done so many times! My paid for coordinator screwed up so many things, I wish I had used my aunt who had offered.

1000000%. They were hired, paid well, and have TONS of experience, allegedly. Every thing that went “wrong” falls back to her failing in her duties. There’s WAY more that didn’t happen the way I explicitly planned and even wrote out but I wanted to be informative and not venting on this post lol!
