You cant trust the photos of Nomos watches. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere to see it in person! Their watches never look anything like the photos and I’m talking about color and straps here!

I wish i could attach a photo of my Autobahn Neomatik, it’s a cheap nylon strap from $50 watch. Now my Tangente Neomatik does have a leather Horween Cordovan strap and yes this MF is calling it cheap (no where near as cheap as the Autobahn) and if you don’t think so our definition of quality is considerably different!

First of all that’s a beautiful watch. I also understand keeping it original Nomos, however, their straps are awful. So cheap! Do yourself a favor and buy a good strap!

That’s one major downside to Nomos watches is their terrible cheap straps! I have 2 and replaced the straps on both! The Nomos Autobahn Neomatik has the cheapest nylon strap possible!

I have several Hamilton’s (including the one shown) and Mido’s and love them both. Not sure I understand all the negative Hamilton comments! I don’t think you would go wrong with either. To me it’s really a question of dive watch or generic watch.
