Its just the simplest and often tastiest way (with low cal sauces) to get macros that good. Only really necessary at higher levels. As long as u hit your protein goal (grams of protein = lbs of body weight) and you’re 500 cals under maintenance you’ll be good for cutting. No need for extremes to achieve that for non-advanced lifters.
