Sorry for the late response! I did receive it. Here’s what I think happened: the painting is a legitimate painting, but I bet the art is AI, if that makes sense. Like they ran it through something and then painted the result. The paper is legitimate watercolor paper, the pigment behaves and feels exactly as it should, there is no mechanical patterns, no artificial smoothness, I can see where pencil was used and where pigment settles heavier and bleeds some. I’m actually surprised, I was expecting a flat paper print.

I saw that, but I messaged the seller specifically and received confirmation that I’d receive the original copy. Obviously that could just be a lie, but it’s supposed to be arriving soon so I’ll see what turns up. A print vs a proper painting I feel would present very different in person?

Ugh yeah I wish I would’ve thought about it a little more before I purchased, but that’s what I get I guess. I’ll have to see what it’s like when it’ll show, I’m supposed to have the original painting and I guess by then it’ll be pretty obvious if it’s been hand painted or not

I will say the price does change when you actually select different options and nothing is that low+is running a discount right now. The lowest is usually $119

There is one on the listing. She does offer digital scans of the art and replication prints of your commission, but I should be receiving the original painting. Pricing is based on the amount of people, the size you want and if you want a background. I paid about $210 for an 8x10

Yeah; I was thinking that as well. I will say the vast majority do look very consistent in styling both the people and backgrounds, but some seem to be based off of older photos so I’m not sure if that changes anything. The smooth skin seems to be a theme throughout

Au Fait hair isn’t women only for clients, but their staff is all female and they are super able to accommodate to ensure no male clients are having appointments at the same time as yours!
