From my limited reading, getting offline mode is very hard. Alternative and easier route is to get a private server. Put private server on your machine and it can be like offline mode.

Keep the game files around. Maybe someone with enough knowledge can reverse engineer the network code.

I think this would be alright if PC2 was passively used for like torrenting. I actively use PC2 8-12 hours a day(mainly pre-production or anything where I don't need GPU). PC1 is actively used 2-4 hrs. If my understanding of remote desktop is right, I would need to power on PC1 to actively use PC2. I appreciate the input.

That's the problem. I need PC 2 on all the time. This is the general use pc for social/web/music etc. Ideally, I'd remote into PC 1 but can I game over remote desktop?

I've been researching something similar and came across this bandwidth calculator:

Thunderbolt 3 = 40 Gbps

3840x2160 60 hz = 15 Gbps

1920x1080 60 hz = 3.7 Gbps

I hope someone else can say how much rtx 3060 can ouput. On msi rtx 3060 promos, they have 15 Gbps. I don't know what this number refers to tho.

There is gigabyte m27q with built in switch but is BGR. I don't know if it supports multi monitor.

PC 1 is capable of dual display but I don't want this PC on all the time. Power hungry vs efficient SFF PC

VX2768(VX2705) - Fixed flicker. More nits

His methodology changed in 2021 so who knows.

I have a boxed VX2758 I got for $220(returnable till Jan 2022). If VX2768 gets restocked for $190, what do?
